Strong-arm robbery reported by Telegraph, Durant avenues

Four individuals committed a robbery with a handgun Sunday around 2:10 a.m. in the area of Telegraph Avenue and Durant Avenue.

The victim, a man in his 20s, and his friends engaged in a conversation with the robbers, who were in a gray sedan. As the vehicle pulled away, it reversed back, and one robber threatened the group with a handgun. At the same time, another assaulted the victim. The victim gave the robber his wallet, at which point all four of the perpetrators got in the car and drove away.

Two of the robbers were described as male — one as being Hispanic or white and with a thin build, the other as being Black and with a medium build.

They were reported to have fled from the scene in the vehicle heading east on Durant Avenue, according to an alert from UCPD.
