As of Tuesday, UC Berkeley students can swim at Spieker Pool and Golden Bear Pool by reservation, according to the Berkeley Recreational Sports website.

Currently enrolled students may reserve a pool lane up to one week in advance, with a limit of one 45-minute session a day and no more than three sessions in a week, according to the Rec Sports website. No drop-ins will be allowed.

Swimmers must wear a face covering in the facility when not in the water, according to Rec Sports regulations, and physical distancing is enforced at all times. Wheelchair accessibility is available at Spieker Pool.

Faculty and staff authorized to work on campus will also gain access to the pools over the coming weeks.

All other Rec Sports facilities remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
