Berkeley Police Department seeking information about shooting suspect

On Tuesday night, two men sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a shooting that occurred on Eighth Street near Channing Way. Berkeley Police Department officers are currently searching for information regarding the shooting.

Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, is searching for information about a shooting that occurred on Eighth Street near Channing Way on Tuesday night.

During the incident, a 28-year-old man, 32-year-old man and a parked car near the scene were struck by gunfire. The two men’s injuries were non-life-threatening, according to BPD officer Alex McDougall.

After the shooting, the men ran to Ninth Street, where officers located them. No arrests were made at the scene.

According to McDougall, BPD detectives are currently conducting follow-up investigations.
