Berkeley police arrest suspect on suspicion of murder

On Saturday, a man in his 30s was found shot dead outside a residence on block 1100 of Glen Avenue in North Berkeley, according to BPD.

Detectives began an investigation immediately, leading to the arrest of suspect Jessie McAllister, a 26-year-old male, according to BPD. The case was forwarded to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office for consideration.
