City of Berkeley offers $50K reward for information on murder of Sereinat'e Henderson

According to a Berkeley Police Department Nixle alert, Sereinat'e Henderson was found shot and unresponsive in a vehicle on Prince Street on Wednesday.

The city of Berkeley is offering a $50,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects behind the murder of Sereinat’e Henderson.

According to a Berkeley Police Department Nixle alert, Henderson was found shot and unresponsive in a vehicle on Prince Street on Wednesday. BPD has not yet identified a suspect or suspects.

“There may be individuals who have information about this crime and we are asking for the public’s help,” the alert states. “Even the smallest detail could be critical in solving this crime.”

The alert urges anyone with information about the crime to contact the BPD Homicide Unit at 510-981-5741 or call the BPD 24-hour nonemergency phone number at 510-981-5900.
