A man in his 40s was stabbed in his abdomen and legs on the 1100 block of University Avenue on Tuesday at 10:46 p.m.

According to witnesses, the suspect is a 30-40-year-old Black male with low-cut blonde hair. He is about 5’8″ and was wearing jeans. When Berkeley Police Department officers arrived, they transported the victim to a local hospital.

The man is expected to survive his injuries.
