Sun and Flower were truly best of friends

Until Sun left Flower at summer’s end.

Naturally, Flower’s proud stalk began to bend,

Flower’s pretty petals drooped by her stem, but

Leaving Flower is a choice hard to condemn.

Over time, Sun would certainly burn her friend.

Wishing fervently for their connection to extend,

Each offered a small piece of themselves to blend.

Really want to know how their friendship mends?

See the first letter of every line and just descend.
