Berkeley police report laptop stolen during robbery at Caffe Strada

According to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Byron White, a suspect stole a laptop from a woman at Caffe Strada and drove away in a white sedan. This report follows a series of recent laptop robberies involving a white sedan.

Following a series of laptop robberies involving a white sedan, another laptop was stolen Tuesday morning outside Caffe Strada.

At around 11 a.m., the suspect approached a woman who was seated in the patio of the cafe, according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Byron White. The suspect then took the woman’s laptop and ran to a nearby white sedan and drove away, White added.

White said witnesses described the suspect as a 5-foot-6-inch Latinx male between 25 and 30 years old “with a medium build wearing a white shirt and dark jeans.”
