Berkeley police locate missing resident considered at risk

Updated 5/4: This article has been updated to reflect additional information from an updated Berkeley Police Department Nixle alert.

On Tuesday, Berkeley Police Department located Taylor Black, who was previously reported missing and at risk, according to an update to a previous BPD Nixle alert.

The previous alert noted that Black was last seen May 1 at his home in the Poet’s Corner neighborhood of the city.

Black is a 40-year-old white male with red hair and brown eyes, and he may be driving a black Subaru Impreza station wagon, according to the previous alert. Black is considered at risk as he may be depressed and possibly suicidal, the previous alert noted.

Black is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and roughly 290 pounds and is known to frequent Oakland and Daly City, according to the previous alert.

In the updated alert, BPD thanked the community for its help in locating Black.
