As COVID-19 vaccines become more widely available, UC Berkeley University Health Services, or UHS, is offering vaccination appointments to all students over the next two weeks.

Students will be able to sign up for an appointment at the Pauley Ballroom through the eTang website, and drop-in appointments are also available, according to an email from the UC Berkeley Division of Student Affairs. Appointments are available May 5, 6, 12 and 13, the email adds.

“We are strongly advising anyone still on campus to get a vaccine with us before traveling home, it’s important to ensure both your own protection and those around you,” the email reads. “Plus, if you are planning to travel, be aware that many border controls will be requiring vaccination for entry.”

Students who sign up for appointments with UHS will receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to the email. In addition to appointments offered by campus, students and staff can also sign up for appointments through the state’s myturn.ca.gov website.

UHS will also host a COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall on Wednesday to provide more information on vaccination efforts and address questions from students.

“Receiving a vaccine for the virus that causes COVID-19 is the key step people can take to protect themselves, their friends and family, and our campus communities while helping bring the pandemic to an end… and us back together!” the email reads.
