Drop-in flu vaccine clinics will be available for UC Berkeley students starting Oct. 6.

Flu shot clinics will be open Oct. 6, 14, 15 and 18 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., as well as 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Clinics will be located at MLK Building Pauley Ballroom.

Flu shots will not be offered to faculty, staff or community members, according to the University Health Services, or UHS, website. The UHS website states that flu vaccines are “widely available” from community and health care providers.

Shots will be free for students with the Student Health Insurance Plan, or SHIP. Costs will range between $30-$50 for students without SHIP.

“Help yourself stay well this fall and winter,” the UHS website writes. “To protect yourself, you need a flu shot every year.”
