The Bears’ chance to build off of a 2-1 win against UCLA and continue their upward momentum built from that game will have to wait.
The blue and gold’s home match against SDSU has been postponed due to inclement weather. Forecasts projected heavy rain throughout the day, so the game will now take place Nov. 14 instead.
Cal will next take the field Oct. 28 in Washington against UW, which provides an introduction for a daunting pair of games that includes Oregon State, the top team in the Pac-12 conference, and Stanford. With the delay of today’s game, the Bears will close out the regular season with home games against the Aztecs and the Cardinal.
