Cal’s Cameron Goode is off to greener pastures. The outside linebacker intends to declare for the 2022 NFL draft, according to the Overtime Sports Management Group, a sports agency based in Houston, Texas.
The Texas local started all 37 total games he played in during his six seasons with the blue and gold. He accumulated 170 total tackles and 14.0 total sacks for 83 yards, which is good for eighth place on Cal’s all-time career sack list. Goode led the Bears in both sacks and sacks per game in 2021, ranking second in the Pac-12 for both categories. In 2020, he was named to the All-Pac-12 second team.
Earlier this month, Goode was invited to play in the Hula Bowl, a postseason game held for standout players across all NCAA divisions. After accepting the invite, he is expected to grace the field Jan. 15, 2022. There Goode will have a great opportunity to showcase his talents in front of an audience of NFL scouts and fans alike.
