In 2018, about 18.1 million people in the United States registered for a road race. Whether we realize it, friendly competition is a core tenet of building community. It is in this spirit that Cal track and field will be hosting AllComers Meet 2 at Edwards Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 19.

Following a slew of intense meets in New Mexico and Washington, the All Comers Meet will allow the Bears to recalibrate and enjoy some time at home.

After competing against top-tier collegiate talent for several weeks, the All Comers Meet will offer Cal a much-needed change of pace. The meet Saturday is opened to junior high, high school, open and masters participants: community members looking for a challenge. The Bears will be competing against each other and themselves, using this meet as a dress rehearsal before the Pac-12 Indoor Invitational on Feb. 25-26 in Seattle.

Field events start at 8 a.m., and track events start on a rolling schedule at 11 a.m.
