Man who fatally shot UC Berkeley student Seth Smith sentenced to 25 years in prison

Seth Smith, pictured above, was fatally shot in 2020. As first reported by CBS Sacramento, the man convicted of shooting him has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Tony Lorenzo Walker, the man convicted of fatally shooting UC Berkeley student Seth Smith in 2020, was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday, as first reported by Berkeleyside and confirmed by CBS Sacramento.

Walker pled no contest to plea deal when he appeared before a judge Monday. Walker will be eligible for parole in about 21 years, once 85% of his sentence is served.
