Cal’s starting placekicker for the past three seasons and interim starting punter in 2019, Dario Longhetto, has entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer. The redshirt senior announced his decision to enter the portal in a Tweet from his personal Twitter account Tuesday.

Longhetto was Cal’s active leader in scoring over the course of his five seasons with the Bears, with 137 points. He went 24-34 on field goal attempts and missed just two point after touchdown (PAT) attempts, including an infamous game-tying PAT attempt in the final minute of the 2020 Big Game, which was blocked.

This season he was a nominee for the Burlsworth trophy, which is awarded annually to the best former walk-on college football player in the country.
