JANUARY 20, 2023

As we go into 2023 and the new semester, we may endeavor to become more organized and stay on top of our goals in both school and our personal lives. The best way to start this is by purchasing a couple things to make your life a little bit more manageable. Luckily for you, we at the Clog have the perfect list that will ensure this semester is a productive one for you!

A nice backpack to carry your belongings

Making sure you have a nice backpack that you enjoy using is a great way to be more organized and keep track of your notes, textbooks and other materials. Although you might think taking a tote bag to lecture will cut it, if you write notes on paper they could easily get lost or crushed while you’re traveling in between classes. While you’re at it, buy a new binder to keep your notes in and be even more organized!

A wall calendar to structure your weekly schedule

Even though you might use google calendar, it makes a huge difference to be able to write your meetings for the week and other important assignments or responsibilities physically down in a planner so you won’t forget. If you are like me and forget to pull out your planner from the depths of your drawer though, a wall calendar is a perfect solution. With it, you can see your schedule at any time and update it right before every week! Some wall calendars even have spaces for reminders and other notes you may have, so it’s a perfect way to have everything written down all in the same place.

A habit calendar to track your long-term goals

For those semester long goals you have like wanting to drink more water or eating out less, a habit tracker is perfect for you! Most habit trackers have spaces that allow you to track the daily habits you want to keep so you can see your monthly progress over time. If you keep it in a space that you can see, it also helps remind you to do these tasks after a long day of classes, which is perfect to make your life a little bit easier and help keep you on top of things!

A three-tier utility cart to hold your bedside items

A utility cart can be a great way to make the most of your space in a small dorm and keep your living space more organized. If you have a ton of books or materials that you want to keep in the same place, this is a great place to keep them. Alternatively, if you are someone who loves late-night snacks, you can use it to organize those as well. Overall, a utility cart can be used in many different ways, so it’s something that you won’t regret purchasing during your years as a college student.

A set of drawer organizers to contain your clutter

If you are someone who likes even the smallest things in their room to be in order and sorted, a set of drawer organizers is the perfect way to be more organized. You can even buy a couple space saving hangers so you can have more space in your closet and keep it looking nice and neat!

Although it can be hard to stay organized throughout a busy semester, these items are sure to help. If you are more organized, you are sure to go into this semester strong, no matter how many things you have on your plate. So, what are you waiting for? Grab some of these things and set yourself up for success this semester.
