With the multitude of anime to watch, all with unique storylines and archetypes, you can’t help but fall in love with some of the characters. Whether it’s their unwavering determination, clumsy persona or signature look that makes them extra special in your eyes, they’re your favorite character for a reason. So, here’s my compilation of what your favorite anime character says about you. I’m starting it off with the first anime I watched — Demon Slayer. Recommended by my very pushy brother, I am forever thankful to him for the peak of entertainment he introduced me to. Let’s jump into the world of man-eating demons.

Tanjiro Kamado

Can I just say, solid choice. If you’re picking Tanjiroo as your favorite, I can tell that you most value loyalty and perseverance. You are most definitely the “mom” of your friend group; you’re super responsible and always taking care of everyone else. You can relate to Tanjiro’s fierce love of family and always feel the need to protect your loved ones. You have a gentle soul and see the redeemable qualities in everyone you meet.

Nezuko Kamado

Although there are contrasts in her human and demon form, Nezuko’s kind heart and selflessness stay constant. You are empathetic and relate to her need to protect those around her. You definitely give off  “looks like a cinnamon roll, but could kill you” vibes.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

Paranoid, much? If Zenitsu is your favorite you clearly relate to his awkward nature at times. You have the biggest heart and overthink things like crazy. Did I mention you daydream a lot? You’re always in your head during conversations and tend to be a pessimist who can’t help being realistic. You like to play things on the safe side and stay in your comfort zone — or is that laziness? And while you may not have the most confidence in your abilities, when you’re needed, you show up.

Inosuke Hashibira

Are you crazy or did you drink more than ten red bulls? Inosuke is the epitome of the crazy best friend, a risk-taker who doesn’t know when to quit. You have a boisterous personality and overflow in confidence. Maybe you relate to his short fuse or his unusual fashion style — either way, you are not to be messed with.

Giyu Tomioka

I have a feeling you picked Giyu because you think he’s hot, which you’re not wrong about. You either relate to his reserved nature or find his aura alluring. You appreciate his level-headedness in high-tension situations and find that his sense of justice matches your own.

Kyōjurō Rengoku

Stellar choice. Nope, I’m not gonna cry. Rengoku’s loving nature and fierce sense of duty makes him a noble hero. You’re the type of person that doesn’t take “no” for an answer and proves everyone wrong. You chose to be optimistic and make calculated decisions that are in everyone’s best interest. To top it off, you always keep an open mind.

Tengen Uzui

You definitely have rizz and like doing things in style, just like Uzui. You are the cool older sibling who begrudgingly takes care of their younger siblings. Your carefree personality and quick thinking make you reliable in any situation. The world is your playground but you can be serious when you need to be.

Muzan Kibutsuji

Really? This jerk? You either think you can “fix him” or your favorite artist is Michael Jackson. Honestly babe, why are we falling for the sadistic masterminds? I’m hoping you don’t resonate with his emotional instability and instead appreciate his calculated thought process. He is really cold-hearted.

So, what do you think? Was I accurate on some, or way off? If this gave you serious FOMO, the Clog recommends you watch Demon Slayer ASAP. I wonder what the next anime will be…
