Vandalism, graffiti reported at UC president’s Berkeley house

Vandalism was reported at the Berkeley residence belonging to UC President Michael Drake on May 15, according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Jessica Perry.

Perry said the building had been spray-painted with racial slurs, profanity and other symbols. The vandalism was located in the backyard and on walls and items. 

UCPD responded to assist with the investigation, according to Perry. UCPD said the UC San Francisco police department is handling the investigation.
