A man in his 50s was stabbed multiple times in front of the Chase Bank at 2390 Shattuck Avenue early morning on Thursday.
The victim was transported to Highland Hospital and is currently in stable condition, according to Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, public information officer Jessica Perry.
Perry said in an email that BPD first received a call at 3:36 a.m. regarding the stabbing. On the scene, officers found the man inside the bank’s ATM vestibule.
As of now, no suspects have been identified or located, and officers are still on the scene investigating, according to Perry.
