Arielle Swedback began as a general assignment reporter in the fall of 2014. She subsequently became the lead community beat reporter—organizing coverage of Berkeley schools, businesses, and government. In 2016, she served as Assistant Opinion Editor in the spring and a Weekender Editor in the fall.
