The Bears finished their season in Sacramento last Friday, racing in the NCAA West Regionals. The women's team placed 14th and the men's team placed 12th.

After Cal’s optimistic showing at the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships in Washington, it will race again Friday in Sacramento.

On Friday, the Bears raced in Washington for the Pac-12 Championship. The Cal women’s cross country team placed eighth out of 12 competing programs, and the men’s team placed fifth out of nine.

On Friday, the Cal cross country teams will look to claim the Pac-12 championship in Washington. The race will be hosted by the University of Washington at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place.

The Bears will run in an ideal 76-degree weather this Saturday when they head down to Santa Clara to race in the Bronco Invitational. Cal will face the likes of Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State at Baylands Regional Park.

Both the women and the men placed well in the Dellinger Invitational, each notching multiple personal record-setting times.

In their first race of the season, the Bears scored well. The program placed second in the men's competition — just behind Boise State — and third in women’s, behind Stanford and Boise State.

Led by a stellar performance from star junior Kennedy Goss, Cal halted its five-game losing streak in a non-conference rivalry matchup versus UC Davis.

Cal has faced UC Davis every year since 2000 and have been consistent winners (holding a 15-11 all-time record) in the series until 2020. The Bears will look to break their five-game losing streak against UC Davis this Saturday.
