Michael Wehner, a senior scientist in the applied math and computational sciences division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, says the intensity of these storms can be attributed to climate change.

UCPD officers were notified of a possible deceased person inside a tent at People's Park on Tuesday at 12:08pm, according to UCPD Sergeant Jacob Westlie. Upon arrival, officers found the body of an unidentified man inside of a tent at the park and confirmed he was dead.
