On Sept. 16, Cal lost its focus in extra time against UCI. Three days later, under the backdrop of a crisp Southern California sunset, the Bears rained on the Beach.

Because of its recent game cancellations due to COVID-19, Cal is ready to rebound against UCI on Sept. 16 and Long Beach State on Sept. 19.

Due to COVID-19 concerns within Cal’s program, its upcoming game against the reigning national champions has been canceled.

Based on orders from UC Berkeley’s campus and local health authorities, the Bears will no longer host the Hornets at Edwards Stadium.

After a convincing win against San Francisco, Cal continues its nonconference slate by battling Sacramento State and Santa Clara.

Right from kickoff, Cal took hold of the driver’s seat and never looked back. With an opening 3-4-3 formation, the Bears controlled possession accordingly in the middle third.

The Bears continue a three-game homestand by welcoming the Dons to Edwards Stadium in another matchup between two unbeaten teams.

In the first contest of a three-game home stand, Cal once again displayed a penchant for late game dramatics as Amaya Gray netted a late equalizer.

Despite being held scoreless for more than 83 minutes, the No. 20 ranked Bears shut out the Portland Pilots, 2-0.

The blue and gold will grace the field with high expectations against the Portland Pilots.
