Four campaign finance reports were denied at the annual ASUC Elections Council Campaign Finance Committee meeting Wednesday. The issues that led to the denials ranged from clerical errors to discrepancies between campaign expenditures and revenues reported.

The ASUC Judicial Council unanimously overturned a decision by the ASUC Elections Council at its virtual meeting Saturday, granting party status to the Transfer Coalition in the 2020 election.

Transfer student Harmony Bulloch is running for ASUC Senate as an independent candidate with an endorsement from the Transfer Coalition to remove barriers for transfer students.

For the upcoming ASUC election cycle, four official parties are running candidates: Defend Affirmative Action Party/Fighting for Immigrant Rights and Equality, or DAAP/FIRE, Student Action, People’s Party and REBUILD.
