The Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, arrested a Berkeley woman Wednesday in connection with a series of attempted kidnappings, according to a Nixle alert issued Thursday.

A collision between a BPD vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Sacramento Street and Allston Way on July 14 resulted in injury to the pedestrian.
