‘Living month to month’: Campus students, alumna reflect on pandemic

UC Berkeley students have faced various challenges since making the transition to online classes, including forming connections with professors and other students. The pandemic has also taken a toll on the mental well-being of many students.

In March 2020, UC Berkeley freshman Prasuna Lingineni was still a senior in high school. With her thoughts focused on graduation and summer plans, the prospect of having to spend her first year at UC Berkeley online had not settled in, Lingineni said.
