Arizona and Arizona State could never quite come to grips with playing on a wet field. The Bears, on the other hand, were unfazed.

Coming off the heels of a much-needed 1-0 victory versus Utah, the Cal women’s soccer team is dialed in for more.

On Easter Sunday, Cal aimed to continue its two-game undefeated streak against Arizona at Murphy Field. But for all 90 minutes of action, the Bears failed to heat up in Tucson’s 90 degree weather.

Arizona State comes hot off a 2-1 victory against UCLA, and Arizona is a formidable, offensively-minded opponent that plays best in the attacking third.
