‘Generally not prepared’: Skewed data complicates COVID-19 policies

Due to the prevalence of at-home COVID-19 testing, it may be difficult to ascertain the true number of COVID-19 cases as at-home results are not consistently reported.

With the rise of at-home testing and no efficient method to report positive cases, experts and officials nationwide face difficulty capturing the true prevalence of COVID-19.
