UC Berkeley professor invents rapid way to purify drinking water

Ashok Gadgil, a scientist and professor at UC Berkeley, has developed a method for purifying water by leveraging the natural binding tendencies of arsenic to separate it from the water. According to Gadgil, more than 200 million people around the world drink water that has toxic arsenic levels, which can lead to various health consequences.
