From the tangible solutions to the unwavering commitment to the UC Berkeley community, the Daily Cal’s Editorial Board ultimately decided that Amarbayar would be the most suitable candidate for president in this ASUC election.

As the current ASUC chief financial officer, Isselbacher sees taking on the role of executive vice president, or EVP, as the natural next step.

Running as an independent candidate, his sole affiliation lies with the student body and the commitments he promises to carry through if elected as the next AAVP. 

However, Kretz’s passion for the SAO’s mission and morals is evident, driving us to be confident that Kretz will heartily and wholly serve the UC Berkeley community.

While the experience and qualifications that set Tigue up for success in this role are overwhelming, her lived experiences advocating for transfers at the community college and university level have given her the insight to understand both sides of the process.

Freshman data science and economics major Richard You is running for ASUC Senate on the platforms of safety and improving the campus community.  

Tyler Mahomes, a campus junior studying legal studies and minoring in public policy, is running for ASUC executive vice president, or EVP. 

Daelynn Castillo-Delgado, a campus sophomore studying political science, is running for ASUC Senate on a platform of advocacy for LGBTQ+ issues and equity for first generation and low income students.
