Trade schools, community colleges provide affordable educational paths

Alternative pathways to a four-year college include community college, trade school, the military or entering the workforce. For example, Berkeley City College student Nadine Ordaz chose to attend the school after leaving San Francisco State University.
Alternative pathways for students graduating high school besides attending a four-year university may include community college, vocational schools, the military or going into the workforce, according to campus assistant professor of education Tolani Britton.
