Since the original production of “Heroes of the Fourth Turning” premiered in 2019, a polarizing pandemic and the 2021 capital riots have proven Arbery’s story to be as relevant as ever.

Even though the characters risk nearly everything to get ahead at work, the stakes are never truly established nor explored for most of them.

The entirety of “You Mean to Do Me Harm” revolves around a short comment made about a past camping trip. What would usually be a passing comment is turned into a tension-filled series of conversations, all incredibly suspenseful despite its apparent mundanity.

“An Entomologist’s Love Story” could have been about pretty much anybody, but in a way that’s oversimplified and maybe even obsolete.
