Conservative author Ann Coulter spoke Wednesday to a crowd of about 400 in UC Berkeley’s Wheeler Hall, as more than a thousand protested outside.

UCPD made an arrest Friday in connection with an incident that occurred Feb. 19 on the UC Berkeley campus, in which a man tabling for the conservative organization Turning Point USA was assaulted on Upper Sproul Plaza.

UCPD responded to a report Tuesday afternoon that a male tabling for a conservative organization on Upper Sproul Plaza had been assaulted, according to a Nixle alert released by UCPD on Wednesday afternoon.
