USC will be Cal’s third straight ranked opponent, so hopefully, for the Bears, the games against Colorado and Stanford will come in handy in preparing for USC. After the game against USC, Cal will head out of the state to take on ASU on Monday at 4 p.m.

Cal’s defense managed to record 20 ground balls and allowed a season-low seven goals to Oregon. The dominant defensive performance allowed the offense to hold the ball more and put up a ton of shots, leading to the 10-0 run.
