Alameda County Superior Court to resume small claims, restraining order hearings remotely

Berkeley City Council to vote on creating fund to help businesses repair vandalism damages

Berkeley City Council is set to vote at its May 26 meeting to establish a COVID-19 Business Damage Mitigation Fund, which will provide grants to businesses that experience property damage through vandalism or other “problematic behavior.”

The Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board met virtually April 30 to discuss the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on rent and mortgage payments, assembly meetings in Sacramento and the city’s fiscal budget.
