Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis this past Wednesday, the 266th pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church. He’s a Jesuit from Argentina — the first pope from the Americas. It will be interesting to see if any changes come as a result of his different background compared to his predecessors.
