Researchers at UC Berkeley and Stanford have released a health study showing that exposure to chemicals and toxic compounds has led to decreased acceleration of epigenetic aging in young boys. 

According to a study by UC Berkeley researchers, early menstruation in girls and early gonad development in boys may be due to exposure to certain chemicals found in commonly used personal care products and cosmetics.

Throughout the last two decades, UC Berkeley Public Health faculty member Dr. Brenda Eskenazi and her team have worked diligently on the longest-running longitudinal birth cohort study of pesticides in the world.
