While Sheck Wes’ debut Mudboy ushers in a new wave of punk-trap music, it fails to deliver on the high expectations set by its groundbreaking singles.

Unfortunately, Playboi Carti’s Rolling Loud set Saturday hit none of these marks. The most excited the crowd ever got was before the show when the DJ played A$AP Rocky and Skepta’s song “Praise the Lord.”

A year after the release of his long-awaited eponymous debut mixtape, Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti has returned to surprise the rap game with his follow-up debut album Die Lit.
