Although I love going home for the summer and getting to spend time with friends and family, that doesn’t change the fact that I really do miss Berkeley. I love the vibrant city and atmosphere that I now call home, and I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be able to return for three more years.

Rich diversity of intellect and expression resonated invigorating notes of purpose and progress, orchestrating an ambitious yet tranquil tune to which I was entranced.

To the world, we are a successful combination of culture and diversity, but behind closed doors, minority groups can fall victim to discrimination, harassment and rejection.
