Berkeley police announce increased Durant Avenue parking enforcement

Berkeley Police Department plans to increase enforcement of double-parking rules on Durant Avenue from May 6 to 7.

Berkeley Police Department, or BPD, will enforce double-parking violations on the 2500 block of Durant Avenue between the hours of 7-11 p.m. from May 6-7 in an attempt to increase accessibility and safety, as first reported by Berkeleyside.

According to the alert, 66-year-old David Robert Boutelle was last seen on Jan. 4 at his residence, located near Durant Avenue and Fulton Street. Boutelle is considered to be at-risk because of recent memory impairment.
