When you cast your ballot, make sure you share your voice. As you share your voice, make sure you are the one speaking.

I am instantly reminded of what unites my Latine family, and I become hungry at the thought of food. Beyond its tastiness and incredible seasoning — which I will soon obsess over — Latine food symbolizes cultural harmony and solidarity. 

We see the pain of fictional characters. We watch other characters grieve over the death as they go through feelings of denial, turmoil, sadness and anger.

I'm not different than anybody else. There is a deeper truth that binds us all together. It is best said by Maya Angelou in my favorite poem, “Human Family"
