Environmental Design Library

The UC Berkeley Library has announced plans for the long-term reduction of library services due to a reduced budget and smaller workforce, according to a proposal released Monday. 

The Physics-Astronomy Library will be closed starting March 21 due to ongoing staffing shortages. The library will likely remain closed through the summer semester. 

The UC Berkeley Anthropology Library announced Wednesday it will close indefinitely beginning Feb. 28.

UC Berkeley will be extending library hours at select locations in order to compensate for the closing of Moffitt Library next semester.

The Berkeley Forum hosted architecture critic Kate Wagner whose viral blog McMansion Hell “roasts the world’s ugliest houses” at an event in the Environmental Design Library on Tuesday night.
