People’s Park recommended for National Register of Historic Places

The State Historical Resources Commission voted Friday to recommend People's Park be placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Amid plans to build housing over People's Park, the UC Board of Regents mailed a letter of opposition regarding the recommendation.
