UC Berkeley students evacuated the Foothill residence hall Sunday after a clothes dryer caught fire in Building 1, according to Berkeley Fire Department spokesperson Keith May.

Graduation for Berkeley High School will no longer be held at Greek Theatre

BHS’s graduation has been held at the Greek Theatre for the past 50 years, according to Berkeley Unified School District, or BUSD, spokesperson Charles Burress. Past graduation ceremonies have also been held at BHS’s auditorium and community theatre, as well as UC Berkeley’s men’s gymnasium.
