Berkeley Lab to study implementing renewable energy in Puerto Rico

In conjunction with $12 billion in federal aid for Puerto Rico, the U.S. Department of Energy aims to study how Puerto Rico can achieve 100% renewable energy, and how that would affect the economy and the workforce.

The U.S. Department of Energy, or DOE, recruited researchers at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to study the implementation of renewable energy in Puerto Rico.
