At Berkeley City Council's first hybrid in-person meeting since the pandemic, the Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Department’s proposal for a recreation and ferry pier at the Berkeley Marina was supported by four City Council members and Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguín.
