Berkeley pauses administration of Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Following the recent suspension of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine across the U.S., the city of Berkeley announced a pause in the administration of the vaccine in accordance with state and federal recommendations.

UC Berkeley students living in on-campus or off-campus congregate housing will soon be able to consider themselves one among the 7 million Californians fully vaccinated as of press time, with the help of University Health Services, or UHS.

UC Berkeley is working to establish resource centers and consider technology options as a step toward developing methods for regenerating damaged tissues as part of the Center for Dental, Oral and Craniofacial Tissue and Organ Regeneration, or C-DOCTOR.
