Amid an intense elections season, the ASUC Senate discussed budgets, personal projects and financial aid at its regular Wednesday meeting.

Conflicts of interest, impeachment petitions and more were the subject of heated debate during the ASUC Senate meeting Wednesday.

Students often think of March and April as a time to take midterms, party over spring break and reluctantly come back to class the next week.

The ASUC Senate passed SR 21/22-019 in support of U.S. House Resolution 2590 and delivered committee and office updates Wednesday. 

The ASUC Senate met Wednesday for a meeting primarily meant to vote on the appointment of campus senior Jacob Dadmun to the Judicial Council. 

The ASUC Judicial Council voted Monday evening to certify the results of four student referendums from the 2021 ASUC elections.

The ASUC Elections Council certified the results of the referendums from the 2021 ASUC elections, which remain to be certified by the ASUC Judicial Council amid conflicting ASUC bylaws and UC Berkeley policies.

Amid disputes and the inconclusive status of three of the four propositions in the 2021 ASUC elections, the Elections Council convened Monday to certify the referendum results.

The ASUC Elections Council and Judicial Council certified some of the ASUC election results for the 2021-22 academic year during their respective meetings Monday. 

After announcing the passage of all four referendums during Saturday’s preliminary tabulation event, the ASUC Elections Council noted the inconclusive nature of three of the propositions.
