‘A big, beautiful history’: Berkeley’s CA Theatre fights to be preserved

Since the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the closure of Berkeley's California Theatre, the theater's former manager — in addition to other community members — are acting as proponents of its preservation.

Not much remains of Berkeley’s California Theatre, a previous landmark for movies and shows, since it closed at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
